What Should I Report on Tackologie?

Help us keep Tackologie useful, accurate and worth browsing by reporting low-quality, misleading or inappropriate content.

Tackologie works best when the things you find are real, relevant and worth following back to the source.

If something looks wrong, misleading, low-quality or out of place, we want to know about it.

Here are the kinds of things we especially want you to report.

AI slop

If something looks mass-generated, fake or designed to imitate real work without actually leading to anything useful, please report it.

That includes things like:

  • obviously AI-generated filler
  • fake product images
  • fabricated interiors, objects, crafts or places presented as real
  • images that look plausible at first glance but fall apart on closer inspection
  • low-effort AI content made primarily to attract clicks

We’re especially interested in reports when the image makes something look real that clearly is not.

Misleading image-to-source matches

The image should accurately represent the page it leads to.

Please report a Tack if:

  • the image is unrelated to the destination
  • the image appears to show one thing but the source is about something else
  • the image comes from an ad, sidebar, author photo or unrelated page element instead of the actual subject
  • the source does not meaningfully support what the image appears to show

A beautiful image is not useful if the link behind it is misleading.

Spam and bad actors

Please report content that appears to exist mainly to manipulate, deceive or flood the platform.

That can include:

  • repetitive promotional spam
  • scam-like pages
  • low-value affiliate pages
  • deceptive redirects
  • sites designed primarily to capture traffic rather than provide real content
  • coordinated low-quality submissions
  • attempts to game Tackologie’s systems

If something feels less like a useful source and more like a trap, we want to know.

Blurry images and other quality problems

Tackologie is visual, so image quality matters.

Please report:

  • blurry images
  • badly pixelated images
  • broken images
  • stretched or distorted images
  • images that are mostly text when a better visual should exist
  • screenshots with unreadable text
  • badly cropped images
  • duplicate or obviously inferior versions of an image

Not every image has to be perfect, but it should be clear enough to be useful.

Impersonation

Please report anyone or anything pretending to be someone else.

That includes:

  • pretending to be a creator, publication, brand or business
  • falsely claiming ownership of someone else’s work
  • misleading profiles or source information
  • content designed to make users believe it comes from an official source when it does not

Inappropriate content

Please report anything that is clearly inappropriate for Tackologie.

That includes content that is:

  • abusive
  • hateful
  • sexually explicit
  • graphic
  • threatening
  • harassing
  • exploitative
  • otherwise clearly unsuitable for a general visual discovery platform

Anything that just looks wrong

You do not need to diagnose the exact problem before reporting something.

If a Tack looks fake, broken, misleading, suspicious, unusually ugly, or simply far below the quality you normally expect from Tackologie, send the report.

We would rather take a look than have you ignore something that does not belong.

Reporting does not automatically remove anything

A report is a signal for us to review.

It does not automatically mean the Tack, source or account will be removed.

We look at the context, the source and the reason for the report before deciding what action is appropriate.

Help us keep the good stuff good

Tackologie is meant to make the internet easier to explore without all the noise.

When you report something that is fake, misleading, low-quality or inappropriate, you help us protect that experience for everyone.

See something that doesn’t belong? Report it.
