Content Guidelines
Tackologie is for thoughtful visual discovery from real sources. These guidelines explain the types of content we do not publish.
Adult or sexual content
This includes pornography, adult nudity, erotic or sexually suggestive imagery, sexual acts, fetish content, adult sexual services or products, and clearly NSFW sexual material.
Violent content
This includes assault or fighting, graphic violence, blood or gore, significant injury, cruelty, self-harm, dead bodies, graphic accidents, and threats or weapons actively used against people or animals.
Real-world occult practice or promotion
Tackologie does not host content that teaches, facilitates, promotes, or sells participation in real-world spellcasting, ritual magic, divination, fortune-telling, séances, spirit-board practices, necromancy, or demon/Satanic invocation.
Fantasy and folklore are not the same thing.
Cute Halloween witches, storybook wizards, fairy tales, mythology, folklore creatures, fictional ghosts, fictional magical objects, and lighthearted seasonal supernatural imagery can be allowed when otherwise safe. Historical, artistic, literary, and informational context is not automatically disallowed because an occult term or symbol appears.
Mistakes and removals
Moderation can sometimes make mistakes. If we decline a Tack, the creator can appeal that decision. Tackologie may also remove content when necessary, including situations not exhaustively listed here. This is an editorial content policy, not a judgment about people or religions.
