A calmer Pinterest alternative

Find something you weren't looking for

A garden that gives you an idea. An artist you want to know more about. A recipe you can already imagine making this weekend.

Discover is Tackologie's curated browsing space. You can arrive with a particular interest or simply see what catches you. Browse categories including Art, Craft & Making, Home & Spaces, Gardens & Nature, Food & Drink, Travel & Places, and Photography.

Enjoy looking around again

Tackologie uses still images, with no autoplay videos or moving Tacks. Take time to notice the details, follow an interesting idea, and enjoy what you find.

Tackologie is currently ad-free. If advertising is introduced after year one, the published policy caps it at 2%. See the advertising policy for details.

Follow the image to its source

Every discovery, called a Tack, includes a source link. Open the recipe, visit the artist's website, or read the story behind the photograph. Keep the visual reminder and the way back together.

The original website controls its content and availability; a source link is not a guarantee that a page will never change or disappear.

Give your ideas a place to stay

Save your favorite Tacks into Stacks for a project, a place you'd love to visit, or things you simply enjoy looking at. You can also bring in finds from supported public webpages. Archive collections when your interests change and restore them whenever you're ready.

A few things you might wonder

Is Tackologie just a bookmarking tool?

No. Tackologie has its own curated Discover feed and topic categories for finding new things. You can save discoveries from Tackologie and bring in finds from supported public websites.

What are Tacks and Stacks?

A Tack is one thing you discover or save, with an image and a source link. A Stack is a collection of related Tacks you put together.

Is Tackologie free?

You can start with 25 lifetime free Tack saves, with no credit card or time limit. After those saves, membership is required to continue exploring Discover, searching for new Tacks, viewing unsaved Tacks, or saving more. Your saved Tacks, their source links, and your own Stacks remain accessible without membership. Deleting a Tack does not replenish the free allowance.

What does membership cost?

Eligible founding subscriptions are $12 per year, plus applicable tax, when started before October 1, 2027 at midnight Eastern. The founding rate continues while the subscription remains continuously active. New subscriptions from that date, and subscriptions restarted after a lapse, are $18 per year, plus applicable tax. See current membership details before subscribing.

Does Tackologie have autoplay videos?

No. Tacks use still images, so there are no autoplay videos or moving Tacks in the browsing experience.
