Static by design
Public Tacks use still imagery, not distracting motion or autoplay video. The focus stays on the thing you found and why it matters to you.
Creating from a URL
What can I Tack?
Most public webpages with a usable still image can become a Tack — articles, recipes, products, projects, inspiration and more. Some sites limit what Tackologie can access, so occasionally a link can't be Tacked. We'll always tell you when that happens.

What about ads?
Currently ad-free. If we introduce advertising after year one, it will never exceed 2%. No misleading advertising. No big corporate advertising.
Ads will open within Tackologie first. Then you decide whether to visit the source or Tack it for later. You’re in control.
The 25-save free allowance also helps protect Tackologie from spam. It gives real people plenty of room to try the service, while making it harder to create large amounts of junk content for free.
